Chris Williams has taken over the management of LBBW’s Project Finance segment in Great Britain. The 48-year-old comes from the Bank of Ireland, where he was most recently Director and Head of Project Finance Northern Ireland.
The project finance business is one of the LBBW Group’s strategic growth areas. Last year, the Bank pooled its activities in this area with commercial real estate finance in a new Real Estate and Project Finance department headed by Board member Thorsten Schönenberger. It focuses on infrastructure, renewable energy and aircraft finance. “We also want to expand our business in selected international markets. We are therefore delighted to have acquired an outstanding expert as a manager for Great Britain and Ireland. Chris Williams has over 20 years of experience and profound market knowledge,” says Thomas Schulz, head of the new Infrastructure and Transport Finance area. Chris Williams will support his customers from the London branch, which is managed by Armin Brestrich.
