The Supervisory Board of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) has appointed Alexander Freiherr von Uslar-Gleichen to the Board of Managing Directors with responsibility for finance (Chief Financial Officer). He will be taking up his post by 1 October 2014 at the latest. The plan is for the current Chief Financial Officer Ingo Mandt to assume responsibility for Financial Markets at that point.

"We have gained in Alexander Freiherr von Uslar-Gleichen a proven financial expert for LBBW's Board of Managing Directors", said Hans Wagener, Chairman of the LBBW Supervisory Board. Von Uslar, aged 47, has been a member of the Board of Managing Directors and Chief Financial Officer of Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG and Hypo Real Estate Holding AG in Munich since October 2009. Between 2001 and 2009 he was CFO of DAB Bank AG. Before joining DAB Bank in 2000, Munichborn von Uslar - who grew up in Germany and the United States - worked as a lawyer for international law firm BBLP Beiten Burkhardt Mittl & Wegener. Von Uslar is married and has three children.
