LBBW supports ENERPARC in expanding its footprint in the German market
LBBW supports ENERPARC with € 266 million to expand renewable energy generation.
Climate-friendly electricity for 100,000 households
LBBW is financing the development of a new portfolio of ground-mounted solar parks for ENERPARC, one of Europe’s leading solar developers and independent energy producers. Through a tailored financing package, Germany's largest public-sector regional bank is providing a total of €266 million. Once completed, the portfolio will be capable of supplying sustainable electricity to more than 100,000 three-person households. This corresponds roughly to the population size of cities such as Augsburg, Mannheim or Karlsruhe.
A tailored solution for the client
The €266 million financing volume consists of a framework facility and a pre-financing line available on demand. The tailored model is made possible by the close cooperation between two divisions within LBBW: the “Real Estate and Project Finance” and “Corporate Customers” departments joined forces to address ENERPARC's needs with precision.
Sustainable transformation: a core competency of LBBW
The collaboaration with ENERPARC reflects LBBW's core strengths: not only is LBBW supporting the Hamburg-based company in expanding renewable energy, it is also strengthening the client’s growth in its home market of Germany.
Financing green, sustainable landmark projects like this has been standard practice at LBBW for many years. The bank specifically finances projects that drive sustainable transformation. Our ambition: to strengthen Germany as a business location, to be part of the transition and to finance the future.
