IJGlobal Awards: Recognition for the Baltyk 2 & 3 Transaction

Double international recognition for a key energy transition project: following its success at the PFI Awards, the "Baltyk 2 & 3" transaction, in which LBBW is involved, has now also been honored at the IJGlobal Awards.

The IJGlobal Awards are among the most prestigious industry awards for energy and infrastructure financing. Each year, they recognize particularly innovative and complex transactions that contribute significantly to the development of global energy and infrastructure markets. The winners are selected by an international jury of experienced market participants.

Located off the Polish coast, the offshore wind farms "Baltyk 2 & 3" are advancing the expansion of renewable energy in Europe. With a planned capacity of around 1.4 gigawatts, they will generate enough electricity to supply approximately two million households.

These awards highlight the key role that innovative project financing plays in enabling the energy transition.
