Refinancing.

The LBBW funding strategy aims to ensure a broad-based access to the capital market for the Bank.

The Bank's long-term refinancing on the capital market is founded on the following three pillars:

  • issuing for private customers
  • issuing for domestic, institutional investors
  • and issuing under the Bank's EMTN program, which primarily targets international investors.

International and domestic issues can take the form of covered bond issues, uncovered or subordinated issues.

LBBW uses the EMTN program for issues in various international currencies in addition to the euro.
